Vanessa is one of the UK's most sought after Concept Chefs, specialising in the development of new pastries and breads. As a Concept Chef for the legendary cafe chain Bettys of York, she has help to develop some fabulous cakes, breads and Easter eggs.
Recently recruited to bring her food magic to Castle Howard, a famous stately home near York, she will develop new dishes at the very highest of level.
Trained by Gordon Ramsey and educated at The Culinary Institute of America, Vanessa has done what most people only dream about: she has followed her passion for food and science to become one of the most influential young people in her chosen profession.
Craggs & Co are delighted to be working with Vanessa who has supplied a few simple recipes to give you a little inspiration.
PHd MSc BSc
Dr. Jibin He is a Senior Lecturer of Food Science and Technology in the School of Science and Engineering at Teesside University. Jibin initially obtained his BSc in Food Science & Engineering from Harbin Commerce University, China, and earned his MSc in Food Science & Quality Assurance from University of Leeds.
Prior to his career at Teesside, Jibin completed his PhD in Plant Biology at Rothamsted Research (BBSRC), in cooperation with Oxford Brookes University. The topic of his PhD research concerned the distribution of chemical composition within wheat grain in relation to their processing properties.
Craggs & Co are delighted to be working with Jibin and Teesside University.

Robert has a Masters Degree in Physiotherapy, a Degree in Sports Science, holds a full certification in manual CORE work and is a fully qualified Pilates Teacher. With over 20 years experience at a Chartered Physiotherapist Robert combines all of these academic qualifications and experience to prevent, diagnose, treat and manage Sporting Injuries and Spinal Conditions.
He continues to develop his clinical skills undertaking training in specialist areas - most recently completing 4 years training in CORE work, an American technique for the mobilisation of soft tissue throughout the body.
Robert is working with professional sports teams, elite and amateur athletes and the general public to investigate the link between injury prevention and recovery time in conjunction with variations in their diet.
